Blackjack Trainer is a blackjack strategy training app. All your data — progress, statistics, preferences — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that collect or store your personal information.
Information stored on your device
The following data is created and stored locally on your device only:
- Practice session history (hands played, accuracy, duration)
- Decision history and mistakes (used to give you targeted feedback)
- Lesson progress and completion status
- Your preferences (sound, haptics, notifications, analytics opt-in)
- Premium subscription status
This data never leaves your device unless you use your operating system’s built-in backup (iCloud on iOS, Google Drive Auto Backup on Android), which is managed by Apple or Google respectively.
Analytics
If you have the Analytics toggle enabled in Settings, the App logs anonymized usage events (such as screen views and session activity) to help us understand how features are used. You can disable this at any time in Settings. When disabled, no usage events are collected.
Notifications
If you enable Practice Reminders in Settings, the App may send you a local notification if you haven’t practiced in a few days. Notifications are scheduled entirely on-device and do not involve any external service.
In-app purchases
The App offers premium subscriptions (monthly, annual, and lifetime) processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect, process, or store any payment or billing information.
Third-party services
The App does not use third-party advertising or social media SDKs. When analytics is enabled, the App uses Mixpanel to collect anonymized usage events. No personally identifiable information is sent to Mixpanel.
Children’s privacy
The App is rated 13+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Data deletion
Since all data is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the App removes all associated data.
